THREE LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION
Choose recommenders who, individually or in aggregate, will give the best sense of your qualifications for study at SIPA.
SIPA prefers to receive one letter from a professor and one from a supervisor or colleague.
All documents, except foreign transcripts judged irreplaceable, become the property of Columbia and cannot be returned. All documents must be in English or accompanied by certified translations.
Transcript
Applicants should scan and upload legible, digital copies of your transcripts from each college and university you have attended as a registered student. These may be unofficial transcripts. When scanning transcripts to upload, be sure to scan the reverse side of the transcripts if applicable or any additional pages that include comments on the grading system used. Transcripts not in English must be translated into English. We recommend using a high-quality scanner for this process.
To mail transcripts to SIPA, you or your school should send the document, sealed in an envelope by the school's registrar, to:
