PS
Statement of Purpose: You should use your statement to describe your background, interests and goals in the study of art history. You should also identify a faculty member/s in the Art History Program who you feel will be best suited to mentor you in your area of interest within art history.
GPA
An undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0, based on all undergraduate work. If the undergraduate GPA is below 3.0, a GPA will be calculated on the last 60 semester hours (90 quarter hours) of the undergraduate work for admission consideration;
CV
Curriculum vitae (résumé) listing your educational background and experience.
Fee
The non-refundable graduate application fee for international applicants is $65. Applications submitted after the application deadline will incur an additional $30 late fee, even if an academic department has a later deadline. Applications are not complete until the application fee has been paid. Please do not send cash.
RL
[sent separately by your evaluators] Two letters of recommendation by professors or instructors who are familiar with your academic work and can speak to your ability to succeed in a rigorous academic program. Please note that Apply Yourself will ask you to enter the names and email addresses of your recommenders, and will send them an online evaluation form. This form will not be sent out until you complete the "recommenders" portion of your application. We suggest that students enter their recommenders into the Apply Yourself system as soon as possible, and independently notify their recommenders of the February 1 deadline.
Transcript
Applicants must upload a copy of all post-secondary transcripts to their application. These transcripts will be used as working copies during the admissions evaluation process. Failure to list all schools previously attended or making false or misleading statements on the application may result in cancellation of admission status and/or loss of credit.Official English translations must be provided if the transcripts are only in the native language.Before starting classes at the University of Utah, students must submit official copies of their transcripts and diploma(s) directly to the Office of Admissions.Official printed transcripts can be dropped off in a closed envelope sealed with adhesive at the International Admissions service window in the Student Services Building (SSB) or mailed to:(http://admissions.utah.edu/international/graduate/index.php)
