TOEFL
The Graduate School requires a minimum score of 79 for the TOEFL IBT and 550 for the paper TOEFL. TOEFL scores expire two years after the test is taken.
Exception: You are exempt from this requirement if you have taken 16 credits as a full-time student at a recognized institution in the U.S. within 24 months of entering the Graduate School. More information can be found on the Graduate School web site.
GRE
GRE General Test scores are required for all applicants. The GRE scores are one important tool that the admissions committee uses in evaluating your application, all scores will be considered. Average GRE scores of admitted students have been as follows.
Verbal: 153
Quantitative: 161
Analytical Writing: 4
*Note that GRE scores expire after five years. After that time, the exam needs to be retaken.

If there is a particular faculty member with whom you wish to study, please give that person's name and explain why you want to study with that person. Three letters of recommendation are required. Acceptable recommendations will come from current or former professors who can assess your potential for graduate work. Additional referees, such as employers, are also acceptable.
All letters must be submitted via ApplyYourself.
Paper copies will NOT be accepted.
Transcript
Unofficial transcripts or academic records must be uploaded directly to the online application. Instructions for uploading transcripts are available here.
International students should also upload an English translation if the transcript is not in English. Click here for more information on international transcripts and credentials.
Please do NOT mail in paper copies of your transcripts, as this may cause serious delays in the processing of your application!
