TOEFL
if your native language is not English, you need to report TOEFL or IELTS scores. MS applicants who have graduated and received a degree from an institution where English is the sole language of instruction can apply for a TOEFL waiver. All other MS applicants must submit a valid TOEFL score. TOEFL test scores must be no more than 2 years old based on the application deadline date. Students admitted in 2011 had the following score averages: TOEFL: 105 (iBT)
IELTS
In addition, if your native language is not English, you need to report TOEFL or IELTS scores. The minimum scores required for IELTS: Overall score of 6.5, with no subsection recommended to be below 6
GRE
All applicants are required to submit a valid GRE examination score. MS applicants who have graduated and received a degree from an institution where English is the sole language of instruction can apply for a TOEFL waiver. All other MS applicants must submit a valid TOEFL score. GRE scores must be no more than 5 years old based on the application deadline date.
Students admitted in 2011 had the following score averages:
GRE General Test: Verbal 560 (68th percentile), Quant 780 (94st percentile), Writing 3.6

PS
A statement of purpose, describing your interests and motivation to pursue a graduate degree.
GPA
The graduate school requires a minimum of 3.0 GPA for admission to any graduate program. However, note that the GPAs of typical admits are significantly higher. Students with exceptionally strong research or work experience but a GPA that is marginally below 3.0 may, in a few cases, be considered for provisional admission.
CV
A resume or CV, describing your work experience, academic projects, and areas of expertise.
Fee
The application fee for 2017 (Spring, Summer or Fall admission) is $100.
RL
Three recommendation letters from academia or industry. All recommendation letters should be submitted online. Especially for Ph.D. applicants, we recommend that a majority of the letters be from academia.
Transcript
Scanned transcripts. Please make sure these are legible or your application will not be reviewed.
Do not send any paper documents until you receive a specific request. After a review process, students deemed admissible will be asked to have their official transcripts sent to us by postal service. Please do not send us any hard copy documents until and unless you receive such a request, as paper documents tend to clog up the system and will likely delay the processing of your file.
