The department does not have a minimum requirement on standardized test scores however successful applicants typically have very competitive scores. Average scores for graduate students entering the ECE department in Fall 2015 were: Quantitative 166/170, Verbal 151/170, Writing 3.3/6.0. New scoring format.

GPA
The University computes GPR (Grade Point Ratio) on a four-point scale for each applicant. Generally, a minimum GPR of 3.3 is required to be considered for admission into the graduate program. However, please note that the average GPR for admitted students in previous years was 3.65.

Application Fee. A nonrefundable $94 application fee.

Transcript
International transcripts are evaluated by the OAR using the standards in the Handbook of Placement of Foreign Graduate Students by the National Association of Foreign Student Affairs in order to determine the applicants equivalent Grade Point Ratio (GPR).
