Receiving a score of 79 (Internet-based test – iBT) or 550 (Paper-based test – PBT) or higher on the TOEFL test.
IELTS

GRE
Applicants to the UConn School of Business graduate degree programs may be required to take the GMAT or GRE tests. If you have not yet taken the exam, or if your score is more than five years old, you should schedule to take the exam.
GMAT
Standardized test scores are an important input in admissions decisions, but they are considered along with other factors such as prior academic record and qualifications, letters of recommendation, professional experience, and your statement of purpose. There is no minimum score required, but competitive applicants usually score a minimum of 650.

You must submit all applicable, official transcripts (undergraduate & graduate).
Your transcript(s) must meet the following criteria:A cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 for your entire undergraduate career or
A grade-point average of at least 3.0 for your last two undergraduate years or
Exceptional work in your entire final undergraduate year (3.5 or better)
Graduate work with a minimum grade-point average of 3.0 or better even if the undergraduate grade-point average meets the above criteria.

There are no waivers, deferments, or refunds of application fees unless otherwise noted. Three Letters of Recommendation: To the extent possible, these letters should be from academic faculty, and should comment on the applicant’s potential for intensive doctoral studies, ability and motivation for scholarly research, and teaching capacity. Letters should be prepared on letterhead. There is no specific form.
