The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences is committed to offering cutting edge graduate programs to allow students to reach their full potential and develop a high level of skill in their careers. Our success in this endeavor is strongly dependent on our ability to bring talented and motivated students into our program. We are therefore making every effort to provide attractive financial aid packages to all qualified graduate students.
During the first year, all incoming, full-time, degree-seeking graduate students receive full financial support from the Department, comprised of a tuition scholarship and a competitive stipend.
After the first year, our normal practice is to use research grants to continue providing students with full financial support.
Our focused graduate programs with close one-to-one faculty-student relationships and our tightly-knit collegiate environment between students and faculty ensure success at all levels.
