The M.S. in Engineering Systems Management is a non-thesis degree requiring at least 36 credit hours. This degree is principally chosen by students wishing to enter the industry after graduation, though some Ph.D. programs will accept this degree for admission. The M.S. in ENSM is a structured master’s degree program, covering both systems engineering and engineering management knowledge and tools. Students are free to select their own in-department and out-of- department elective courses, with the potential to also earn a professional certificate in areas such as business, safety engineering, or statistics, while getting the ENSM degree.
