Global business is expanding and creating a need for managers who have skills and knowledge to handle business problems and opportunities in the international arena. The purpose of the MSIB program is to provide students with the business knowledge, quantitative skills and interdisciplinary perspective needed to be an effective professional in international markets. Graduates of the MSIB program will be bilingual and culturally sensitive, and will possess critical thinking and analytical skills that uniquely position them to capitalize on the opportunities and challenges organizations face in the global marketplace.
The MSIB program offers two tracks: (1) Core MSIB degree (2) MSIB degree with concentration. Within the second track, two areas of concentration are offered: (a) Quantitative Analytics concentration and (b) Interdisciplinary Knowledge concentration. The quantitative analytics concentration focuses on analytical tools to support large data analysis and business decisions in an international context. The interdisciplinary knowledge concentration focuses on developing social and behavioral science understanding related to international affairs.
