<p align="justify">今年4月,L同學(xué)找到我們,希望申請(qǐng)新加坡地區(qū)的金融/經(jīng)濟(jì)/商業(yè)分析等專業(yè)。依據(jù)多年的新加坡申請(qǐng)經(jīng)驗(yàn),我們<strong>對(duì)L同學(xué)的背景進(jìn)行了匹配分析</strong>。</p>

<p align="justify"><strong>◆硬件方面 </strong></p>
<p align="justify"><strong>本科院校:</strong>L同學(xué)本科來自國(guó)內(nèi)著名學(xué)府——<strong><a href="http://www.0535www.com/activity_178" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><span style="text-decoration: underline; color: #1890ff;">復(fù)旦大學(xué)</span></a>的經(jīng)濟(jì)專業(yè)</strong>,這在偏愛名校背景的新兩所申請(qǐng)中無疑有著不錯(cuò)的優(yōu)勢(shì)。</p>
<p align="justify"><strong>GPA:</strong>L同學(xué)的<strong>GPA只有3.17/4.0</strong>,這個(gè)成績(jī)?cè)谛聝伤鶡衢T商科專業(yè)的申請(qǐng)中顯然是沒有什么競(jìng)爭(zhēng)力的(申請(qǐng)新兩所商科專業(yè)一般GPA85+才比較有競(jìng)爭(zhēng)力)。</p>
<p align="justify"><strong>標(biāo)化考試:</strong>語言上有雅思7(5.5),已經(jīng)足夠應(yīng)對(duì)新加坡地區(qū)的商科申請(qǐng);但還沒有進(jìn)行過GMAT考試。</p>
<p align="justify"> </p>
<p align="justify"><strong>◆軟件方面 </strong></p>
<p align="justify"><strong>實(shí)習(xí):</strong>L同學(xué)有一段投資部和咨詢公司市場(chǎng)部的實(shí)習(xí),總體實(shí)習(xí)經(jīng)歷不錯(cuò)。</p>
<p align="justify"><strong>科研/項(xiàng)目:</strong>科研方面只有一段課設(shè)和一份宏利競(jìng)賽的經(jīng)驗(yàn),<strong>缺乏量化相關(guān)的經(jīng)歷</strong>,這對(duì)商業(yè)分析等看重量化專業(yè)的申請(qǐng)來說還是很不利的。</p>

<p align="justify">綜合來看,以L同學(xué)當(dāng)時(shí)的背景申請(qǐng)NTU/NUS的熱門商科專業(yè)確實(shí)還是有一定的風(fēng)險(xiǎn)的,但考慮到L同學(xué)本人的“名校情結(jié)”,且當(dāng)時(shí)距離申請(qǐng)還有小半年的時(shí)間,我們最終還是在仔細(xì)研究新兩所各商科專業(yè)錄取數(shù)據(jù)的基礎(chǔ)上,為L(zhǎng)同學(xué)制定了包含NTU商業(yè)分析、NTU金融、NUS經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)、NUS市場(chǎng)營(yíng)銷在內(nèi)的“<strong>全名校申請(qǐng)沖刺計(jì)劃</strong>”!</p>
<p align="justify"> </p>
<p align="justify">確定完選校組合后,我們便立即開始為L(zhǎng)同學(xué)安排她的專屬背景提升攻略。根據(jù)當(dāng)時(shí)的時(shí)間點(diǎn)和L同學(xué)的實(shí)際情況,我們將她的背提重點(diǎn)放在了<strong>軟背景</strong>和<strong>GMAT考試</strong>上。</p>
<p align="justify"> </p>
<p align="justify">對(duì)于很多商科的同學(xué)來說,其實(shí)都有量化經(jīng)歷欠缺的問題,但市面短期、高質(zhì)量的量化項(xiàng)目又十分稀少。但好在,我們自己就有提供相應(yīng)的<strong>量化訓(xùn)練營(yíng)</strong>項(xiàng)目。今年4-6月,L同學(xué)在我們的建議下參加了我們的量化訓(xùn)練營(yíng)項(xiàng)目,并在老師的指導(dǎo)下完成了<strong>基于時(shí)間價(jià)值的期權(quán)對(duì)沖交易策略</strong><strong>研究</strong>,不僅成功掌握了python,還為自己的CV和PS提供了有利的量化經(jīng)歷素材。我們的文書老師也在之后的CV/PS寫作中,充分利用了L同學(xué)的這段經(jīng)歷,向招生官證明了她的量化能力和商業(yè)分析能力。</p>
<p align="justify"> </p>
<p align="justify">解決完量化經(jīng)歷后,L同學(xué)面臨的就是<strong>GMAT考試</strong>這座大山了。對(duì)于L同學(xué)這樣本身GPA不高的申請(qǐng)者來說,取得一個(gè)滿意的GMAT成績(jī)不僅是為了達(dá)到相關(guān)專業(yè)(如NTU BA、NTU金融)的申請(qǐng)要求,更是為了向?qū)W校證明自己的學(xué)習(xí)能力,彌補(bǔ)GPA的劣勢(shì),因此可以用至關(guān)重要來形容了。</p>
<p align="justify"> </p>
<p align="justify">然而,由于今年疫情的影響,多場(chǎng)GMAT考試取消,L同學(xué)最終只訂到了8月29號(hào)的考位,這無疑給她又增添了不少的壓力。GPA不夠理想、GMAT考試遲遲無法進(jìn)行、聽說今年新加坡申請(qǐng)難度提升……在種種焦慮情緒的影響下,L同學(xué)的意志也開始出現(xiàn)松動(dòng)。今年7月,L同學(xué)主動(dòng)向我們提出了更換專業(yè)的建議:<strong>將沖刺項(xiàng)目NTU BA更換為更有把握的NTU管理經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)項(xiàng)目</strong>。</p>
<p align="justify"> </p>
<p align="justify">盡管更換之后的專業(yè)組合申請(qǐng)成功率會(huì)大大提高,但站在L同學(xué)本人的角度去想,NTU BA才是她更青睞的項(xiàng)目,而我們也不希望她在申請(qǐng)遞交前僅僅因?yàn)榻箲]就錯(cuò)失了圓夢(mèng)的機(jī)會(huì)。</p>
<p align="justify"> </p>
<p align="justify">因此,我們并沒有在第一時(shí)間就為L(zhǎng)同學(xué)更換申請(qǐng)專業(yè),而是再次向她展示了去年拿到錄取的同學(xué)的背景,希望她相信,以她的條件只要GMAT可以成功出分,<strong>拿到NTU BA還是很有機(jī)會(huì)的</strong>。同時(shí),NTU管理經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)項(xiàng)目的申請(qǐng)開放時(shí)間也是顯著晚于申請(qǐng)組合中其他專業(yè)的(要到今年12月1日才開放申請(qǐng)),等到11/12月的時(shí)候,萬一申請(qǐng)結(jié)果不理想,再臨時(shí)進(jìn)行加申也是來得及的。</p>
<p align="justify"> </p>
<p align="justify">在我們的勸說和安撫下,L同學(xué)終于重拾信心,繼續(xù)進(jìn)行GMAT考試的準(zhǔn)備。功夫不負(fù)有心人,在今年8月29日的GMAT考試中,L同學(xué)一鳴驚人,取得了<strong>730分</strong>的優(yōu)秀成績(jī)。有了這樣的GMAT成績(jī),L同學(xué)對(duì)自己的申請(qǐng)也有了自信,和我們的配合也更加默契。</p>
<p align="justify"> </p>
<p align="justify">今年9月,我們便早早地為L(zhǎng)同學(xué)完成了申請(qǐng)文書的初稿;經(jīng)過雙方的仔細(xì)打磨,最終完成了我們都非常滿意的文書。10月中旬,當(dāng)一切都準(zhǔn)備就緒后,我們?yōu)長(zhǎng)同學(xué)遞交了申請(qǐng);一個(gè)半月后,L同學(xué)終于<strong>如愿收獲了NTU BA的錄取</strong>,成功圓了自己的名校碩士夢(mèng)。</p>
